An expedition through time, history and technology of Human Space
We are glad to announce a new product for the international English-speaking community - the Taikodom Universe website. On the brand-new webpage (www.taikodomuniverse.com), visitors may interact with it and learn a lot more about the story designed for it. The company's writers have been working on it for about 4 years now. It depicts at least a quarter of a millennium in the future, where several narratives take turns inside literary works, comics and the game based on it; readers should make up their minds to which way to go: Timeline, Archive and Hypatia.
First suggested by Gerson Lodi-Ribeiro, renowned Brazilian science fiction writer and Hoplon's consultant for the fictional universe, the Timeline outlines main advances and difficulties that have led humankind to venture into the Taikodom - achieving the conquest of Space. Search about Science&Technology, Space Society, Human Space and Historical Events are carried out at the Hypathia Network device - sort of "neural encyclopedia" - offering over 150 entries put together as real brain connections. In the Archive, visitors move into documents especially selected by a puzzling and daring character, The Archivist. He shares his deepest concerns, fears and unsure ideas about the historical cycles of Taikodom, in a controversial and "opinionated" version of the facts. Yet, he still promises a nice surprise at the end of the road.
Hoplon is glad to finally release the Taikodom Universe website version for their esteemed English-speaking community.
